Thomas James is a Toronto-based DJ, with an ear for the sounds of London, Berlin, Bucharest and beyond. Striving to connect the dots between House, UKG, Techno and Minimal, his selections have moved the dance floor in renowned Toronto venues like Soundsgood, Coda and Rhythm. You can expect his sets to contain all the elements the genres have in common: Swinging grooves, deep atmospheres, and a heavy focus on sub frequencies. Alongside Greg Burke and fivemondays, Thomas James founded the r.hythmik collective, a loose group of friends and collaborators, looking to create dancefloor moments of euphoria and introspection in equal measure. Currently consisting of Thomas James, Greg Burke, Fauren and Hair Gel, the collective have found a home at Rhythm, where they, alongside local guests, showcase the many subtler sounds in dance music.
